Preheat oven to 425
1 Bag flat tater tots (I have used regular tots as well)
1 Can corn, drained
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1# ground beef (or turkey)
1# medium cheddar cheese (grated)
Cook the meat, drain well.
Combine meat, corn and soup in mixing bowl. Add seasoning(salt & pepper or anything else you think my taste good) to taste.
Place tots in a single layer in the bottom of your pan (deep dish is best).
Pour soup mixture on tots and level it out. Cover with cheddar cheese. Place another layer of tots.
Bake uncovered for 30 min or until tots are golden brown.
I have done this recipe in my Deep Covered Baker, covered in the microwave. It cooks everything through, but the tots don’t have the crispy golden crust at the end. It still tastes great, but if you like the crispy texture, baking in the oven is the way to go.
