4 or 5 chicken breasts – cooked and cut up in large pieces
1 pkg. (16 oz) frozen broccoli – partially cooked/drained (microwave 3 or 4 min)
2 cans – cream of chicken soup
1 cup mayonnaise (not miracle whip)
½ cup milk – 1 tsp Lemon juice (I use 1 ½ tsp)
¾ pound cheddar cheese – shredded (I use Colby/ cheddar)
½ pkg. Pepperidge Farm Herb Dressing (8oz) / 4 tbsp. Butter or margarine
Place cooked broccoli in 9 x 13 pan or casserole
Place cut up chicken on top of broccoli
Mix soup, mayonnaise, milk, lemon juice and pour over chicken and broccoli.
Sprinkle cheese on top of mixture in casserole
Melt butter and mix dressing with melted butter and sprinkle on top of cheese
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes.
I usually cover the casserole with foil for the first 30 minutes so as not to burn or overly brown the topping. Then remove foil for last 10 to 20 minutes. Enjoy!
